Iowa State University Greene County Extension & Outreach is hosting a Tree Talk with Brad Riphagen. The topic will be pruning trees. “Pruning trees, especially when young, is valuable to help develop and maintain the health of the tree. Many times, we are unsure of when, where, and how to prune our landscape trees. Join us to discuss best practices for pruning the trees around your home,” Riphagen said.
The Tree Talk will be Thursday, Feb. 22, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the Greene County Extension office meeting room. This is a free program. Persons can sign up to attend by calling 515-386-2138.
